A bodhran is a large traditional frame drum of Irish origin and is often associated with Celtic music. It is typically played with a double-ended wooden beater called a bodhran "tipper." Many intricate rhythms can be created with the tipper to accompany all kinds of traditional tunes such as jigs, reels, and hornpipes.
This tuneable bodhran is standard-sized at 18" x 3-1/2". The bolt tuning is hidden on the inside of the frame for a sleek look. Features a traditional goatskin head and mulberry wood construction painted black. Includes a tipper and a tuning wrench.
